Hooded Cardigan
This simple baby sweater is knit seamlessly from the top down with raglan increases for the sleeves and an all over Moss Stitch pattern. Stitches are set aside for the sleeves and the body is worked in one piece to the hem. Sleeve stitches are placed onto dpns and knit in the round. Stitches are picked up and worked to create the hood and finally stitches are picked up and worked in rib to form the button band.

Sizes:
3 months (6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months)

Finished Measurements:
Chest: 18(19, 20, 21, 22) inches / 46(48, 51, 53, 56) cm

Knit and purl stitches
Increases and decreases
Knit in the round (for the sleeves)
Pick up stitches

Yarn:
Aran weight yarn 100g/200 yd skein x 2(2, 2, 3, 3) skeins
 
Needles & Notions:
US 8 (5mm) circular needle and set of double pointed needles
Yarn needle
4 stitch markers
Waste yarn
4(4, 5, 5, 5) buttons (approx. 0.5 inch / 15 mm in diameter)
