Penrith is a seamless cardigan knit from the top down with set in sleeves. It features simple cables on the fronts, sleeves and each side of an eye-catching cable in the centre of the back. Both charted and written instructions are included for the cables.

The front and back pieces are worked separately from the shoulders to the underarms where they are joined and the body is worked in one piece with shaping. Stitches are picked up from the armholes and the sleeves are knit down with short row shaping for the sleeve caps. Finally stitches are picked up to work the button band.
