This simple light weight cardigan is knit seamlessly from the top down with raglan shaping for the sleeves and gentle waist shaping for a flattering fit. The sample uses just one contrasting colour for the stripe pattern but you could use as many as you like - perfect for using up leftover yarn!

It is intended to be worn with approx. 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) positive ease. Choose a size up to 4 inches / 10 cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

Stitches are cast on for the yoke which is worked flat and shaped with raglan increases. Stitches are set aside for the sleeves and the body is worked down in one piece with shaping. The sleeve stitches are then placed onto dpns and knit down in the round. Finally stitches are picked up to work the button band.
