Drift
Drift is a relaxed raglan pullover with a single cable panel on the front. It is knit seamlessly in the round from the top down. Both charted and written instructions are included for the cable pattern. Sizes: XS(S, M, L, XL, XXL) Finished Measurements: Bust: 30.5(34.5, 38.5, 42.5, 46.5, 50.5) inches / 76(86, 96, 106, 116, 126) cm It is intended to be worn with approx. 0-2.5 inches / 0-6 cm positive ease. Choose a size up to 2.5 inches / 6 cm larger than your actual bust measurement. Skills Required: Knit in the round Cables Pick up stitches Yarn: DK / Light Worsted weight yarn 50g/109 yd skein x 9(10, 11, 12, 13, 15) skeins Approx. 900(1000, 1100, 1250, 1400, 1600) yds / 820(920, 1000, 1150, 1280, 1460) m Needles & Notions: US 6 (4mm) 24” (60 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needles and set of double pointed needles US 7 (4.5mm) 24” (60 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needles and set of double pointed needles Cable needle Yarn needle 4 stitch markers Waste yarn Construction: Stitches are cast on for the yoke and worked flat until the neckline shaping is complete. The piece is then joined to work in the round and shaped with raglan increases. Stitches are set aside for the sleeves and the body is worked in one piece with shaping. The sleeve stitches are placed onto dpns and knit down in the round. Finally stitches are picked up to work the neck band. |
