This classic cabled sweater is perfect for colder weather. It is worked seamlessly and features set in sleeves and a split hem. The cable pattern is fun to work and easy to memorise. Both written and charted instructions are included. (Note: Sizes L, XL and XXL have a wider central cable panel on the body).
The body is worked from the bottom up starting with the front and back hem pieces. These are joined and the body is worked in the round to the underarms where it is split into front and back and worked flat to the shoulders. The shoulders are shaped with short rows and then joined using a three needle cast off. Stitches are picked up from the armholes, the sleeve caps are shaped with short rows and then the sleeves are worked down in the round. Finally stitches are picked up to work the neck band.
