Coast is a light weight, loose-fitting pullover, perfect for spring and summer. It is worked seamlessly from the top down with a simple drop shoulder construction

(MC) Lead x 2(2, 3, 3, 3) skeins
(CC1) Dove x 1(1, 1, 2, 2) skeins
(CC2) Kingfisher x 1(1, 1, 1, 2) skeins
Or approx. 670(740, 830, 920, 1020) yards of MC, 280(310, 350, 390, 430) yards of CC1 and 260(280, 310, 350, 390) yards of CC2 in a 4 ply / fingering weight yarn.

US 1½ (2.5mm) 16” (40cm) circular needle and set of double pointed needles
US 2½ (3mm) 32” (80cm) circular needle and set of double pointed needles

Stitches are cast on for the back using a provisional method, the shoulders are shaped using short rows and the piece is worked to armhole depth. Front pieces are picked up, the shoulders and neckline are shaped and then the front pieces are joined and worked to the underarm depth. The front and back pieces are joined and the body is worked down in the round. Stitches are picked up from the armholes and the sleeves are knit down in the round. Finally stitches are picked up to work the neck band.
